The top layer is a substantial, solid wood veneer that showcases the unique grain, color, and texture of your chosen species. This robust surface allows for multiple refinishes during its lifetime, highlighting its long-term value and beauty. It is oriented longitudinally to emphasize the natural flow of the wood grain.
The middle layer features a highly stable solid wood core (Acacia or Poplar), meticulously arranged laterally (perpendicular to the grain of the top and bottom layers). This cross-graining technique dramatically reduces expansion and contraction from temperature or humidity, offering unrivaled resistance to warping, cupping, and gapping.
Mirroring the top layer, the bottom consists of a solid wood veneer (same species as the core) aligned longitudinally. This balancing layer counters tension, enhances structural integrity, and ensures your floor remains beautifully flat over time.
